Hi, I’m Bojan Veljanovski. I have 16+ years of experience as a software engineer, architect, and technical leader.

Currently, I lead R&D engineering at a software consulting company, focusing on software architecture, technical excellence, and helping shape product direction.

Before that, from 2013 to 2024, I was the first engineer at a software consultancy in Southeast Europe, growing from developer to CTO. That’s where DDD, distributed systems, and Extreme Programming became the foundation of how I build software, principles I now apply alongside agentic engineering and LLM-assisted development.

I started my career in 2010 as a freelance software developer, building web applications for hotels, clinics, and schools. I’d been writing software since 2003, when I started with VB6 at 14.

Outside work, I run ultramarathons. I’m a father of two. This blog is where I keep notes on things I find useful.
